Oversees daily logistics operations, customs clearance, and team performance to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective import/export processes. They lead staff, manage vendor relationships, and handle complex documentation including prepare billing for Cross Border Trucking, participate in month end closing and provision report.


  • Operations & Logistics: Manage end-to-end shipment lifecycles, including air, sea, and land transportation.
  • Customs Compliance: Oversee customs declarations, ensuring compliance with Royal Malaysian Customs, Port Authorities, and other agencies (MITI, MAQIS).
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the operations team to achieve KPIs, and act for the Senior Operations Manager when required.
  • Client & Vendor Management: Liaise with clients to provide expert logistics advice and manage relationships with carriers and third-party contractors.
  • Process Optimization: Monitor operational efficiency, maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage costs.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, or customs declaration.
  • Experience handling customs declaration for JB port / airport is an added advantage.
  • Leadership: Minimum 2 years in supervisory or team leader role.
  • High knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, and declaration systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and resourcefulness with excellent problem solving attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Team player with a responsible and proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in import/export documentation, Customs systems and Trucking.
  • Office-based with occasional coordination at port, airport, or customs office if required.
  • Normal office hours; flexibility required during peak operations.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia is a MUST (Mandarin is an added advantage).
